Wet Insulating Blanket - 2300 Series and 2600 Series
Versatile insulating materials for 2300ºF and 2600ºF applications
Gemcolite® Wet Insulating Blanket
Gemcolite® Wet Insulating Blanket is a moist, vacuum formed sheet of alumina-silica fiber with inorganic binder. Packed in heat sealed plastic bags, it is easily shaped or molded, and acheives its insulating capabilities as the blanket dries. The properties of Gemcolite® insulation blankets allow for easy creation of prototypes and test shapes.

Applications include:
Boiler and Water heater linings for combustion areas
Ceramic kiln linings
Industrial furnace linings
Backup insulation for castables, brick, etc.
Usable anywhere high temperature insulation is required
