Sinterlyte™ is a lightweight porous kiln setter for temperature applications up to 1600°C (2900°F). Kiln setters can be coated with Ceria, Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia, Alumina, or left uncoated. As well as providing a non reactive surface, coatings eliminate dusting and provide a smoother, more wear resistant surface.

Sinterlyte™ can be made into sheets, corrugated plates, or custom shapes based on your firing needs.

Excellent Energy Conservation

Low thermal conductivity and heat storage make Sinterlyte™ materials an outstanding energy saver. Thermal shock resistance permits fast cycling without cracking or spalling.
