CNC Machining

With three, high-production, CNC controlled, milling machines, large, complex and precise insulation packages can be provided with short lead times and without investment in tooling. This is great for prototypes, small run products, and applications where tight tolerances are required.

Custom Product Molds

In high volume applications, products can be molded into a majority of insulating shapes with custom built tooling. This reduces material waste and machining time, ultimately saving you money.

The tool and die division of UETC has been producing molds for insulation shapes for over 25 years and their knowledge and technical expertise is unmatched in the industry.

Surface Treatments

Insulation materials may be surface treated to provide additional erosion or specific chemical resistance for use in extremely hostile environments.

Implanted Components

UETC materials can have components molded or installed into them to provide easy handling and installation such as: Bolts, nuts, pins, mesh, or even other insulating materials for critical areas, such as our ultra high efficiency Microlite.


UETC provides assembly services to provide you with a complete subassembly ready to be installed. We can assemble complex insulation packages that cannot be formed or machined as one piece. Hardware can be implanted and installed in conjunction with these complex insulation packages, giving you a complete subassembly.

Die Cutting and Wetpack Blanket

Blanket, paper and felts can be cut into custom shapes using die cutting techniques. Blanket products are also available in a Wetpack formulation, which comes presoaked in binders. This allows you to wrap or form the flexible insulation blanket around the part to be insulated and allow it to dry, giving a custom insulation shape. This a great option to test concepts and prototypes, or to insulate irregular shapes without the investment of a custom die or machined part.

Excellent Energy Efficiency

Low thermal conductivity and heat storage make UETC insulation materials materials an outstanding energy saver. Thermal shock resistance permits fast cycling without cracking or spalling.
